My name is Joseph, and I’m really glad you decided to stop by! I’m 27,\u00a0 born and raised in Pittsburgh, and currently living in Brooklyn. I received my Masters in Computing & Information Science in the fall of 2016, and have worked in Blockchain ever since.<\/p>\n

I’m passionate about a lot of things, and love to share with people who are interested in the same. I’ve been an avid photographer since I got a DSLR for my birthday in high school. I’m a very visual learner, and to me photography is such a powerful tool to share ideas and emotion. I’m a Nikon guy, and I’d argue that my D7200 can be as loyal as a dog. I enjoy shooting concerts, nature, architecture, people, food, the night sky, cityscapes, and sunsets. You can check out my photography website here<\/a>! My family owned and operated a hotel in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland called the Carmel Cove Inn for 23 years. My mom taught me everything I know about gourmet food. \u00a0I also learned the value of holding yourself to a high standard inside kitchen, and outside. Quality of food is directly proportional to the care put into the preparation. After working in a kitchen, I fell in love with cuisine and I do all I can to explore the culinary world. A night out, in a dimly lit booth, at the new Williamsburg restaurant is paradise to me. Although, I’d just as happily take my time to craft a beast of a dinner at home.<\/p>\n

\"Chef<\/p>\n

I spend more time then I would like to admit discovering, downloading, and enjoying music. I attended 10 straight Bonnaroo Music Festivals in Tennessee from 15-25 years old. I believe the occasional live performance is necessary to a balanced diet. \u00a0Sometimes I find a track I’m just itching to tell people about, so you will probably find it here.<\/p>\n

\"Nothing<\/a><\/p>\n

I was raised in the city, but having a getaway in Maryland made me fall in love with the outdoors at a young age. In the winter, snowboarding is practically stress relief. In the summer, mountain biking is my adrenaline fix. Being on a lake, I learned quickly that fishing is one of the most complicated but rewarding hobbies someone can have. As long as it’s a nice day I’ll be biking, kayaking, longboarding, hackysacking, disc golfing, geochaching, stargazing, or just going for a hike.<\/p>\n

\"Somethings<\/a><\/p>\n

For almost a decade I played the eclectic sport of Ultimate Frisbee. After captaining my high school team, I played five years on the University of Pittsburgh Ultimate Frisbee team. I won two national championships, and made some of the best friends a young man could ask for. Playing a competitive sport for so long I learned the discipline and leadership skills to be an effective teammate.<\/p>\n
